The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) reported that Americans lost over $10 billion to scams in 2023. Scammers target everyone, especially the elderly, regardless of one's race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality. Scams are constantly evolving; adapting to new technologies and money laundering methods while preying on your fears and goodwill.
Scambaiters volunteer their time and resources to engage with fraudulent scammers. We occupy their time, collect information, report to authorities, disable their resources, raise awareness, assist scam victims, and prevent others from falling victim.
